We are delighted to announce an exciting concert by outstanding Indian Slide Guitarist Manish Pingle, on Friday 8th February at 7pm. This is a rare opportunity to see a top class performer from India in an informal venue, the kind of setting in which Indian musicians traditionally thrive.
This is a nurturing mudra, it creates space and is particularly useful when the mind is busy, or when we need a bit of time & space to process things. Read more for directions on how to use it.
NEW DATE : Friday 21st December, 7.00 – 8.00pm (ish). FREE – All welcome. Singing and chanting opens the heart and has been part of being human since we came down from the trees. Kirtan is a beautiful expression of humanity and of Yoga, and a lovely way to spend an hour or so.
Saturday 19th January, 10.00 – 4.00pm with Hannah Penn. This will be a lovely day of Yoga practice, including asana, pranayama, Yoga Nidra, meditation and a whole range of Mudras!
Starts Tuesday 6th November. The class is 10.00 – 11.30am and is held in our Yoga Centre on South Road. Helena Turner has been teaching in Sheffield for many years and we are very pleased she will be taking this class for us. Beginners very welcome.
The Vasistha Method of Pranayama, teacher training module with Jean Lavers. Course includes training & practice in a comprehensive range of Pranayama techniques. Open to qualified Yoga teachers & student teachers. Last 2 places available.
