Yoga & Stress

 

 

These are stressful times so it’s good to know about more about stress and the effects it has on body & mind.

In terms of Yoga, a class once a week or a few postures here and there won’t make a great deal of difference, but a strategic use of Yoga & Meditation will help.

The practices in Yoga promote relaxation & the release of tension, improve digestive function, establish healthy breathing patterns …. and empower people to realise they can do something to help themselves.

The attitude / awareness we develop in meditation creates a space between ourselves and the stress & strain of life – a space that reduces the immediate impact of stress and which gradually leads to greater peace of mind.
