A Crystal Cacao Ceremony for reconnection
All you need is some sacred cacao elixir which will be provided for you and a crystal of any kind, which you’ll need to bring with you.
We’ll drink the sacred cacao in community together the way the ancients did to open our hearts, relax our minds and bodies, and we’ll energise our essence with the power of your crystal in ceremony.
This will clear or ease any heavy energies such as overwhelm, stress, other people’s expectations and emptiness to name a few.
Through a simple crystal ceremony of light, you’ll bring all your energy back to yourself, restore your physical energy and energise your essence.
This will reconnect you with your full energy and you’ll be serving everything and everyone else from a full inner cup.
What to bring for the Cacao Ceremony
Please bring :

- Your own favourite cup for your cacao drink if you prefer
- A pen / paper or journal (optional)
What is Cacao
Cacao is a gentle plant medicine which is loaded with flavonols that protect the heart and is one of the best antioxidant superfoods on the planet. She is a huge immunity and mood booster full of essential minerals. When consumed in an intentional way, euphoric states are unlocked and heavy energy is released .
When used ceremonially, cacao enables us to connect to ourselves and the loving energy in our bodies. She gently connects us with our heart and unique inner wisdom. She is a powerful gentle heart opener that paves the way for transformation and for this ceremony we are being offered the gift of receiving new energy and a new life cycle.
You may need to be aware of some possible contraindications if you take other medications. Pure cacao has a very low risk of interacting with some antidepressants and other heart medications. Please feel free to reach out in confidence with any queries or concerns around this.
For the ceremony, the cacao will be made into a drink using nut-based milk, water and two superfood powders: maca and lucuma. The drink will be sweetened with the natural sweetener Xylitol. The drink tastes like warm, sweet hot chocolate.

What to Bring for a Gong bath
Yoga mats and blankets are available to use but bring anything you need to be comfortable lying down for the gong bath meditation -warm, comfortable clothing, a cushion, your mat & blanket if you prefer.
We recommend bringing something to lie down on and to cover you up, a single air bed or camping mat, aduvet or sleeping bag for example.
Chairs are available if it’s better for you to sit during the gong bath.

David Mostyn is a Level 1 & 2 Gongmaster and qualified Satyananda / British Wheel of Yoga teacher.

Please Note :
Doors open at 10.30am.
Please arrive no later than 10.50am so we can be ready for a prompt start.
If you arrive later than 11.00am you might not be able to get into the room.

Venue
These Gong baths will be held in our Yoga Centre on South Road, in Walkley. It’s a lovely room with good acoustics, perfect for working with sound and vibration.
