Come and join us on the weekend of 14th – 15th November for a weekend of Meditation, Yoga Practice, Satsang and Chanting with a very special teacher!

What the weekend involves

We start off with Kirtan on the evening of Friday the 13th (this is open to everyone).

We’ll then dive into some serious Meditation and Yoga practice on the Saturday & Sunday. Plus we’ll have time to talk, ask questions and catch up.

It is a good chance for all of us to meet up, do some yoga and put some energy into practice and into furthering our spiritual education.

Swami Gyan Dharma is a very popular teacher. He teaches around the world and his courses are generally full. This non-residential weekend is a great opportunity to work with him.

The workshop will be held in Sheffield Yoga School on South Road.

There is parking on South Road or on one of the side streets in Walkley. South Road is also the main bus route through Walkley.

The weekend is 14th & 15th November :

  • Saturday 14th : 10.00 – 4.30pm
  • Sunday 15th : 10.00 – 4.00pm

There is Kirtan on the Friday evening. This is open to anyone and needs to be booked separately.
Kirtan with Swami Gyan Dharma will be free / donations.

The teacher: Swami Gyan Dharma

Swami Gyan Dharma has been chanting for 40 years. He makes seemingly difficult chanting accessible to all.

Swami Gyan Dharma was born in Denmark. At 25 years old he travelled to India and spent many years deepening his knowledge of Yoga. After leaving India he spent 10 years on retreat in a small village in Spain, developing his understanding and experience of Yoga and Meditative disciplines. Since the mid-1990s he has been teaching and making people aware of the spiritual dimension of life.
