A traditional meditation that focuses our attention on the natural breath. This increases awareness and improves concentration bringing calm and balance to the mind, resulting in greater mental clarity. In the long term it has the power to transform the mental habit patterns that can cause stress and unhappiness. The course involves a sequence of meditation sessions that introduce the technique so that it can be practiced at home. Suitable for beginners.
This course is run by Tradition Yoga, a charity based in London. The courses are all run as a charitable not-for profit activity. They cover both theory and practice of Hatha and Raja Yoga, for the purpose of promoting the study and practice of traditional yoga, advancing the education of the public in its healing, preventative and therapeutic effects, and promoting the mental, physical and spiritual health of the public.
The Course Fee covers the basic costs of running the courses. All Traditional Yoga teachers are volunteers. The Donation recognises the value of the teaching and supports our charitable work in the UK and India. For more information about the charity please click here.
