This event has now passed. Please visit our website for details of upcoming Workshops & Courses
I am in the process of easing down on travelling and teaching and as this may very well be one of my last trips ‘up North’, I am moved to introduce on these two days some of the lesser known Pranayamas, Pranayama Prakriyas and Pranayama Mudras along with traditional practices revolving around Developmental Pranayama (Rhythmical Breathing) and Classical Pranayama.About the Course
The focus of this course is ‘going deeper into Pranayama’ and over the two days Philip will be teaching some of the lesser known Pranayamas, Pranayama Prakriyas and Pranayama Mudras. This will be alongside more traditional practices revolving around Developmental Pranayama (Rhythmical Breathing) and Classical Pranayama. These ‘lesser known’ practices will include work on :- Releasing deep seated tension in the body, both physical and subtle
- Some practices related to the Tri granthi – a combination of Bhastrika, Bandha and Mudra practices
- An excursion into ‘creative Pranayama’ that will involve subtle variations on Nadi Shodanah and the introduction of a ‘new’ Pranayama and kriya – Nirjhara Pranayama (the ‘Waterfall Breath’) a practice Philip has been working with for quite a while now that aims to render some of the more advanced practices concerning the absorption of Prana through the Chakras more accessible.
Who is the course for?
This is an intensive 2 day course and is designed for Yoga teachers and practitioners with at least 5 years experience of Yoga and Pranayama practice. Places are limited and early booking is recommended.
