First Aid Training

First Aid Training days are open to anyone.

On completion, participants receive an Emergency First Aid Manual and a First Aid Certificate valid for 3 years. This is the Emergency First Aid at Work training, often a requirement for insurance. The course is an OFQUAL registered training course and qualification.

You now need photo id to take part in these training sessions. Please bring a passport, driving license or similar to the training. Any problem with this please contact us beforehand.

Venue : Sheffield Yoga School, South Road, Sheffield S6 3TA

Cost : £70 for the day (includes 3 year certificate & 1st Aid manual)
These courses are limited to 12 participants, so early booking is recommended.

“I just wanted to give you some very positive feedback about the training day on Saturday. I really appreciated how the teacher tailored the day to our needs. Most trainers just go through the material, regardless of participants, without altering things to the yoga workplace. This trainer was very knowledgeable about our arena and that was much appreciated.

I also appreciated that he allowed for us all to be a bit long in the tooth, when it comes to first aid, and didn’t make us do things that we knew well, eg. The recovery position. And I loved it that he is active in the emergency world and did not hesitate to tell us when things were wrong/out of date in the manuals.

I felt I was in very capable hands and for once, I did not drift off or fall asleep! We all have tales of trainers who were just going through the motions, without taking our experience and needs into account!”
