Meet the Teachers : Helena Turner

Helena has been teaching in Sheffield for many years now and she is a much loved member of the Yoga community!

She is trained and qualified by Satyananda Yoga UK, a British Wheel of Yoga accredited training course. Satyananda Yoga teacher training is rigorous and intensive, it is a highly respected and comprehensive teacher training course. Helena is trained to teach a wide range of Yoga practices.

In her own words …

I have been practising yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2007. I have continued to study and deepen my practice, attending monthly yoga days when I can and regular yoga classes. I now teach Yoga full time.

The practices of Yoga have supported me through life’s ups and down and since teaching I have seen many people, including myself, benefit from a mindful yoga practice. I have taught Yoga in several settings, and to all ages and abilities.

I believe yoga is for everybody. In my spare time I like to paint Yantras and Mandalas and have run several Yantra painting workshops across the country as well as small groups at my house. I also give Thai Yoga Massage.
