Early Morning Yoga & Meditation Course

Our next early morning Yoga & Meditation course starts on Thursday 23rd January.
There are a couple of places still available.

  • This is a 7 week course running from 23rd January to 12th March (no class on 20th February)
  • Sessions are 7.15 – 8.15am and are held in our Yoga Centre on South Road in Walkley
  • The teacher is Chris Noon and the fee for the course is £45.00.

Early morning is the perfect time for Yoga and meditation and these sessions are such a good start to the day.
The focus of these classes (as it is traditionally in Yoga) is meditation. The posture work and breathing practice we’ll do is there to create the optimum conditions for meditation.

The course will include a number of dharana (concentration) techniques which you can learn and use for yourself.
When dharana / concentration is sustained we have meditation.

Beginners are welcome.

The benefits of meditation are well documented nowadays and we can read about them online – or we can do the practice and experience them for ourselves!
