Chris Noon (BWY Dip)

Chris has been practicing Yoga since the early 1990s and began teaching in 2001. Over the years he has been fortunate to learn from a wide range of inspiring Yoga teachers.
Chris is a director of Sheffield Yoga School. A full time, professional Yoga teacher he qualified initially with a 3 year British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Diploma Course.
He subsequently trained with Satyananda Yoga UK. Satyananada Yoga (now known as Bihar School of Yoga) teacher training is rigorous and intensive and is known for the quality of teachers it produces.
His training is extensive and on-going, including:
- 3 Year BWY Diploma Teacher Training Course (UK) with Jean Lavers 1999 – 2002
- 1 year Study & Sadhana Course (London) with Swami Vedantananda Saraswati 2003
- 1 Year Satyananda Yoga Integration Course (London & Portugal) with Swami Vedantananda Saraswati 2006/7
- 1 year Pranayama Foundation Course (UK) with Phillip Xerri
- World Yoga Convention : Finding Solutions of Life Through Yoga (Brittany) with Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati (Head of the Bihar School of Yoga)
- World Yoga Convention : Spontaneous Yoga Living (Majorca) with Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati
- ‘Inner Silence’ (Sweden) : 2 Week Course with Swami Janakananda (Scandinavian Yoga & Meditation School) 2013
- Anatomy & Asana Workshops (Sheffield) : Chris set up these workshops, taught by Physiotherapist and Yoga teacher Lesley Dike, in 2005 for training Yoga teachers in Anatomy and Physiology.
