Finding the healthy balance between flexibility and strength in a very complex joint

Essential Anatomy Training for Teachers with Lesley Dike

  • Saturday 7th November, 10 – 4.30pm
  • Sheffield Yoga school, Walkley
  • £55

What we’ll cover

The shoulder area is very complex and deserves in-depth study. The fact that both stability and flexibility are required means the structure is complicated.

In this workshop we will explore the basic anatomy of the shoulder, leading into movement analysis and what often goes wrong. Common shoulder problems such as ‘frozen shoulder’ and rotator cuff tendinitis will be covered.

We will also focus on the shoulder in asana, working together on ideas to modify poses and ideas to help, protect and maintain shoulder health.
