New Yoga for Kids Classes!
We are very pleased to be adding Kids Yoga classes to our timetable.
Yoga is great for children. It teaches them skills which will help them through the whole of their lives.
Yoga is proven to help children at school in a number of ways, improving concentration, developing good self esteem, as well as teaching them techniques for relaxation.
The benefits of Yoga for Children include :
- Confidence, self esteem
- Better health
- Good posture
- Relaxation, better sleep
- Good breathing habits
- Making friends & having fun!
The classes :
Pre school (3 & 4 year olds) : Thursdays 1.45 – 2.30pm
These classes involve games, stories, movement, singing and calming relaxation.
Parents take part in the class as well so these classes are a wonderfully nurturing and sharing experience for you and your child.
After School Club : Thursdays 3.45 – 4.30pm
These classes are for older, school age children. They involve warm ups, creative and exciting games, Yoga posture work, breathing practices and mindful relaxation.
Parents can drop children off for this class or stay and join in!
Cat Brockbank is an experienced Yoga teacher who specializes in teaching Yoga to children and teenagers.
She brings a brings a great enthusiasm to her classes, making sure they are creative, stimulating and varied every time.
