Yoga for Pregnancy

Why practice Yoga for Pregnancy?

Yoga for Pregnancy helps you and your baby through the changes and demands of pregnancy and birth.

Yoga posture work is safe, effective exercise which keeps the body healthy and strong, preparing you for labour and for your new life after the birth.

Posture work helps manage the common discomforts often associated with pregnancy.

Yoga Breathing techniques increase your vitality. They can also be extremely helpful during labour.

Relaxation enables you to deal with any stress and tiredness you may experience during pregnancy or during the early months of motherhood.

Yoga for Pregnancy will enrich your experience of pregnancy.
The benefits are felt not just by you and your baby, but also by your nearest and dearest.

Preparation for Labour

Hands cradling babyIn Yoga for Pregnancy you will learn a range of Yoga practices which you can use during labour.

For example, you will learn simple and straight forward breathing techniques which relieve anxiety and encourage the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain killers).

These are safe and natural practices which work with your body and can help to make labour go more smoothly.
