Sheffield Yoga School

“Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion.
It is the most valuable inheritance of the present.
It is the essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow.”
- Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

Sheffield Yoga School was established in 2003.
We now have a range of classes suitable for all ages and abilities.

We offer Beginner and Intermediate level classes,
as well as Yoga for Pregnancy.

We run Sheffield Yoga Days which continue to bring some of the best Yoga teachers in the UK to Sheffield to share their knowledge and inspiration.

The Instructors

The British Wheel of Yoga

Hannah Penn (BWY Dip) and Chris Noon (BWY Dip) are fully qualified by the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY).

The British Wheel of Yoga is recognised by the Sports Council as the governing body for Yoga in the UK.

Yoga

Yoga is a complete system which improves and develops every aspect of our lives.

Yoga creates balance in life.
Regular practice will make you healthier, happier and better able to cope with the stress and strain of modern life.

Aims of the School

At Sheffield Yoga School we aim to teach Yoga safely and systematically.
Students learn in a progressive manner, appropriate to each individual.

We encourage students to make Yoga a part of their daily lives, through regular class attendance and home practice. We provide home practice plans which enable you to learn techniques practised in class at your own pace.

Free Trial

You are welcome to attend a first class free of charge, after which you can decide if the style of Yoga we teach is the right one for you.
