Directions
From the M1 – Junction 36
- Take the A61 signed to Sheffield for 4.5 miles (through woodland).
- When you come to the Norfolk Arms, Grenoside, turn Right up to the crossroads in Grenoside village.
- Turn Left at the crossroads : the centre is 200m on the left, past the church.
- Park in the big car park next to the hall.
From the M1 – Junction 35 (NOT Meadow Hall)
- Take the A69 signed to Penistone for 0.5 miles, then take the first road on your Left.
- Go 1 mile to Ecclesfield, straight on through the traffic lights, then first Left up Church Street.
- Go past the church on your Right and straight on up Wheel Lane, 1 mile to the A61.
- Go straight on up through the traffic lights, 300 yards (past the hospital on your Left) to the crossroads.
- Turn Right along Main Street. The centre is on your Right before the church.
From Manchester on the A682
- On the A682, pass the Dog and Partridge on your Right.
- At the Flouch roundabout, turn Right onto the A616.
- Continue on the A616 for 5 miles to the junction with the A629.
- Go 1 mile on the A629, joining the A61, then 2 miles through woodland to Grenoside.
- When you come to the Norfolk Arms, Grenoside, turn Right up to the crossroads in Grenoside village.
- Turn Left at the crossroads : the centre is 200m on the left, past the church.
Buses to Grenoside Community Hall
The number 66 bus goes from stand C4 at Sheffield Interchange (over the road and to the right from the train station) to Main Street. The Community Hall is on your right as you go along Main Street.
The 66 bus leaves at 23 minutes & 53 minutes past the hour. The journey takes 26 minutes.
The number 77 bus goes from stand D4 at Sheffield Interchange to Penistone Road. From here it is a 10 minute walk to Main Street.
- Get off near Grenoside (ask the driver if necessary)
- You will see either Salt Box Lane or Blacksmith Lane (on your left as you are going away from Sheffield city centre).
- Walk up either of these roads to Main Street, turn right onto Main Street and continue on to the venue on your right.
The 77 bus leaves on the hour, at 20 past the hour and at 20 to the hour. The journey will take a little over 20 minutes.
